I am presently working as Assistant Librarian in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli and handling classes for MLIS and M.Phil. students in Department of Library and Information Science, Bharathidasan University. I have completed my B.Sc Library and Information Science and MLIS from Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli. I have cleared my UGC-NET exam in December 1996 and Later I completed my M.Phil in Library and Information Science from Annamalai University. As a Professional, first I completed my Training from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and I worked as a Librarian in Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) Loyola College, Chennai, SSI Limited, Chennai, and later I worked as Regional Coordinator in Libsys Technology, Bangalore and also as Librarian in Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science ( Govt of Puducherry), Puducherry. Over all I got 12 years of professional experience and guided 3 M.Phil scholars. My areas of specialization are Library Automation, E- Learning, Building Institutional Repository, and Digital library.
